Franchisors would like the ability to add coverage for a provider that is specific to a single program or only available temporarily (CAT situation.)
They need the ability to select one or more franchisees, one or more programs, and one or more counties/zip codes for each Special Coverage situation. They should also be able to specify a date in the future on which the Special Coverage will no longer apply. The date should not be required so that they can create perpetual Special Coverage.
Zipcode vs County should be determined by the default Administration settings "Service Area Dispatch Method:". The "License" option should function the same way that zip codes do.
They should also be able to inactivate Special Coverage manually.
They should NOT be able to delete special coverage since we'll need a record of it.
The grid should sort newest special coverage situation to oldest.
Regular coverage always outweighs special coverage.
On the dispatch screen, providers should be included in the Eligible Tab if they have special coverage that makes them eligible. Special coverage should always be shown last in the Eligible grid sorted by closest to the loss address.
If a provider has regular coverage and special coverage that makes them eligible for a lead, the special coverage should not be shown...only the regular coverage since that is the most important.
Special Coverage providers should be highlighted or notated in the Eligible list somehow that they are there due to special coverge.
If a lead is dispatched to a provider due to special coverage, the provider should NOT lose a turn. It should almost be just like a preferred provider situation.
If a lead is dispatched to a provider due to special coverage, there should be a note added somewhere that indicates special coverage was the reason the provider received the lead. It should include the name of the Special Coverage.
